Description of:   YASHODA & KRISHNA 3 Artist: Dhriti Devi Dasi Every day at dawn Krishna’s friends would gather at His house before going to tend the calves. Yashoda would dress Krishna, feed Him and prepare His lunch bag. Here one of Krishna’s friends is helping Him dress as Yashoda lovingly looks on. At the door the cowherd boys eagerly await Lord Krishna's association. All day they will simply play while tending the calves. Krishna's pastimes of tending the calves with His childhood friends are mentioned in the Srimad-Bhagavatam, 10th canto, chapters 11-19.
