KRISHNA &
ARJUNA BLOW CONCHES
Artist: Ramanatha Dasa
After Arjuna received instructions from Lord Krishna in the form of the Bhagavad-gita,
Arjuna agreed to fight for the cause of dharma or to reestablish religious principles.
In the Gita it is stated that just before the battle commenced, Lord Krishna and Arjuna
blew their transcendental conch shells, shattering the hearts of the sons of Dhritarastra. It was an omen to Duryodhana that
he would not be victorious in battle. As long as Lord Krishna was seated on the chariot of Arjuna, there was no possibility
of Duryodhana's success, despite the fact that Duryodhana had superior numbers and more powerful generals.
